What to expect

Firstly, we are a Farm, not a Big4 or a similar resort – there is a Big 4 resort in Bathurst, and camping is available at Bathurst Showground. We have a small camping area and if you are looking for something different in the country maybe our Farm will suit you. We have hot showers, septic toilets, and an enclosed camp kitchen with satellite TV.

There’s always plenty of farm animals around. You’ll get to interact and feed our chickens, Alpaca, Lambs, Cuddle a cow, our Donkey and Pig do tricks for treats, and of course a lead ride on a Pony!

We have dogs, that will sometimes leave a calling card near your caravan, which we do of course clean up. But they are friendly and love the farm, which is their home.

IMPORTANT – re dogs – “Grey Nomads” we welcome your well-behaved pet, please keep them closely supervised, we can direct you to an off-leash area for a freedom run. Take care not to feed them if our dogs are around and under no circumstances feed our dogs. This is vital for their health and behavior, they must not learn to expect treats from anyone except us, and one of them has allergies.

Depending on the time of year it can be hot, or cold, or both.

The flies in summer can be pesky. It’s part of farm life, so please bring some insect repellant if you’re coming in warmer months.

To book a camping site – please email or call 0429 337 439.

Our Camp Kitchen is fully equipped and enclosed. Crockery, cutlery cooking utensils, fridge/freezer, microwave  & a gas stove are provided.

There is a TV with a satellite connection.

There is no need to bring anything except your food, tent/caravan, sleeping gear, and be ready to have fun.

Campfire – We do have a  fire pit area. You do need to supply your own firewood. If you wish to have your own campfire at your site you must have a fire pit that is off the ground-ash does not fall onto the ground.

We welcome you to inspect our camping area before deciding to stay. Please phone – 0429337439 to arrange an inspection.

Camped here for the Bathurst weekend. was great all round. not too crowded and plenty of toilets etc. the camp kitchen was very clean and it was so good having a fridge and cooking equipment to use. would definately recommend and will stay again next time we make the trek down…. sure beat camping by the creek in town!
